Background
Richard N. McIntyre joined First Reliance Bank on October 31, 2003. He is responsible for the first expansion of First Reliance Bank outside the Florence, South Carolina market. His duties as Lexington Market President include the acquisition of branch locations, recruiting staff and developing a full service banking organization in Lexington County, South Carolina.
Richard has over twenty-three years of banking experience that began with C&S National Bank, where he began as a collector in the Midlands Consumer Loan Department. His career path included Branch Manager, Lexington City Executive and Midlands Consumer Loan Administrator. For the past twelve years, he has been the Lexington County Executive, first two years with NationsBank (now Bank of America) and then Carolina First, where he managed eight branch locations and a commercial lending staff with assets in excess of $250 million.
Education
Richard graduated from the University of South Carolina in December 1980 with a Bachelor of Science of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance (Banking & Real Estate).
Memberships
Richard has served on numerous boards and committees in the Columbia and Lexington communities, including The Indian Waters Council of Boy Scouts of America Executive and Advisory Board, and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Riverbanks Zoo Foundation Board of Directors and is a twenty-year member of the Lexington Rotary Club and Lexington Chamber of Commerce. |
