Florence, Lexington, and Charleston, S.C.-
On July 15, First Reliance Bank teamed up with members of the Francis Marion University women's soccer team to emphasize the importance of keeping cool in the hot summer months. The event was one of several customer appreciation events planned by First Reliance; it started at 9:00am and ended at 6:00pm.
"Most people do not realize how important it is to stay hydrated, especially when participating in outdoor activities," said Reuben Hewitt. "This event was designed to boost customer awareness and remind our customers how much we appreciate their business. At the event, each customer received a free bottle of water and a First Reliance Bank sports bottle."
Together, First Reliance associates and members of the Francis Marion University Women's soccer team handed out over 2,000 bottles of water and Bank sports bottles. This giveaway was not designed to promote or sell any banking products or services nor was it limited to only current bank customers. First Reliance advertised the event on their Picture Board (LED Sign) so that anyone needing to "Cool Off" was welcome to stop by and get a free bottle of water. This event was bank wide and these items have been distributed in Florence, Lexington, and Charleston. First Reliance Bank believes strongly in letting their customers and the communities in which they operate know that they care and sincerely appreciate them making First Reliance Bank their bank of choice.
