Johnny and Stephanie, thank you both so much for all of your help with this. You have truly made this so easy on the banking side of things and I could not be more appreciative. Your assistance and communication through this process is exactly why I wanted to get the loan through you even if it meant I had to pay closing costs. First Reliance earned my business many years ago, but you and the rest of the staff there keep my business with every interaction. Thank you again for everything.
Robyn and her team at First Reliance Bank were there for us when we were faced with a very narrow window to close on a new home. Robyn was recommended to us by a trusted friend and described as a local banker who was well informed, thorough, and able to work hard on our behalf. From our initial meeting with her, she put us first, always making us feel like we were her only client. As she assessed our situation, she quickly put a plan together, complete with timeline, tasks, and toll gates. Once the plan was agreed to, Robyn and First Reliance Bank engaged their resources, both internally and externally, to achieve our dream of a new home. On multiple occasions, we observed her queuing up the next phase of the plan, keeping us well informed along the way, and outlining any potential risks. She and her team went above and beyond working weekends and well into the night to make things happen for us. Robyn and First Reliance Bank made our experience personal, and for that we are eternally grateful.

SC HELP Program for SC Homeowners Struggling To Avoid Foreclosure
South Carolina has worked in conjunction with its partners to develop a comprehensive, statewide strategy whose purpose is to help families stay in their homes or otherwise avoid preventable foreclosure.
The South Carolina Homeownership and Employment Lending Program (SC HELP) was designed based on the experience that every homeowner’s situation is unique and that homeowners have complex needs. They’ve designed five program options to help eligible homeowners who are at risk of mortgage loan default or foreclosure.
