Consistent with our founding principles, it’s important that First Reliance Bank have a positive impact on the people around us. We make significant economic contributions to the communities we serve. Also, we infuse about $30 million into our local economies through salaries, interest paid on deposits, and the products and services we buy in the communities.
More than just money, First Reliance donates more than 1,000 volunteer hours per year. About 1.5% of our net income goes to charity each year.
The bank has a particular interest in adoption. So our signature philanthropy is Reagan’s Promise, an adoption awareness program.
