Brook Moore

Responsibilities

Mr. Moore was named Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Credit Officer in January 2021.   Prior to that he joined the bank in July 2020 as Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Administrator.  He is responsible for the management and oversight of the bank's Credit Administration function, ensuring appropriate credit risk for the risk profile as established in credit policies.  He is responsible for ensuring the underwriting and credit approval processes while supporting the bank's service culture.  Moore is also responsible for coordination with regulatory agencies, loan review firms, CPA's, etc. during examinations and audits.  He provides direct supervision and accountability for Credit Administration, Special Assets and Loss Mitigation & Recovery.

Experience

Bringing over two decades of banking experience to the team, Moore has a demonstrated history of success in commercial loan production, credit administration, and portfolio management.  During his tenure, Moore has held various banking roles including Market President, Commercial Banking Executive, Chief Lending Officer, and Credit Executive.

Background

Bringing over two decades of banking experience to the team, he holds a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Bankers School.  Moore has been active in his church and community and currently serves as a Director for Ben Lippen School, Congaree Land Trust, and Columbia East Rotary.  He is also a youth coach and scout leader.
